On the scoop this week:
- Momoh puts a smile on our faces in the shape of 6 and halves plus the 7s.
- Dr. Obiaya returned with a sequel to the presentation on hardwork.
- Ethics took the smile after 48hrs
- Graduate seminar was cancelled; so much for the hardwork and sleepless nights.

…and so much more.
Dr Isah Momoh is an undisputed champion in the art of kindness. As we say, M is for Monday. Monday is for Momoh. The theory doctor didn’t disappoint as he put a smile on our faces in the shape of 6 and halves plus the 7s. Yes Oh, but it didn’t last as our explanations on Aristotle’s four cardinal virtues 48hrs later wasn’t enough to keep PAU’s Ethical proponent from turning my morning to night. But before I go faster that my shadow; Tuesday was the almighty dissertation commencement date. That was how some people got tensed up only to realize that the graduate seminar was cancelled. So much for hardwork and sleepless nights.
Dr Obiaya returned with a sequel to the presentation on
hardwork and trust Moyosore, she “shouted” the words down our necks. I’m sure
that killed our boredom, even the Dean couldn’t resist taking note; thumbs up
dear.
The M&A IBP campaign presentations addressing the gender
imbalance in the Masters programme was lit. Come and see FT9ners forming
Marketing and branding strategist. That’s how Khenni almost stole the show and
will not stop throwing wonderful creative designs at our faces. How can I
forget the teasing backlash from Mr. Olasope and Miss. Balogun on Naydu’s group
(where I happen to belong) and Dotun/Beryl’s collabo in the revenge that was
served ice-cold; no chill. We still sha survived….yimu. Nice presentation from
all four groups.

Finally and on a more serious note, we should keep in our
hearts Mrs. Awagu’s inspiring outburst – “Always have the back of each member
of your group”. The naked truth remains that “if you allow us view your weakest
link, we forget about your strength and recognize your vulnerability”.
This piece is dedicated to all the ladies of FT9,
especially those that surmounted various obstacles and ended the week on the
high. Shout-out to my girl, Oreoluwa Akinlabi, even your laptop could not stop
you from 30 marks. Shout-out to Temi, we can only get better. Shout-out to my
vice president, you are strong and I wish you well.
Once again, happy birthday to Taibat, Dara and Amina. More scoop next week.
With Love,
Veena.
