It was a warm Wednesday afternoon, the FT9er's were ready to learn from the lecture sessions by our facilitator, Dr. Obiaya.
It was a shock, to be told that, we were to present on that day, an assignment given to us a while ago. Not certain about anyone else, but I certainly wasn't ready.
After 10 minutes allotted to us to prepare, the presentations began.
Tick tock, tick tock, I could here the sound of the clock tick in my head. I felt a traumatic jolt in my spine, two persons left before it got to my turn, and I had no idea of what to present.
To save myself from the excesses of anxiety I felt within me, I narrowed my presentation towards story telling and drama, (which I love of course).
And this was what I came up with...
Pheeeeew! I felt liberated. Although, it was funny and attention gripping, I did not get somethings right.
Facilitator's comments on my presentation:
1. Always have a central Theme of discuss
2. Mind the use of Language
3. Make sure you have a list of clear points stated chronologically(not a dogmatic rule)
As the days goes by, I believe I would get it right. Like they always say "Practice makes Perfect."
Keep up with FT9 dairies for more memories...
